What is your favourite kind of tea?
Dirty Chai with cream.
Which assignment was the most fun to mark?
Fun is an interesting word, and not one I would associate with marking. But since you asked, they are all fun in the sense that we get to design them, so we are able to see who challenges themselves and who doesn't. My favorite one to watch or participate in is C2N.
Have you picked up any new hobbies during this period of social distancing?
Yes, I learned how to take an iPhone apart and replace the battery, as well as how to use some new computer technology for distance learning.
Are you a cat or dog person? Explain your choice.
Neither! Dogs and cats can get in the way of a great travel story. Also, I am not fond of handling feces.
What is the best song of all time? Explain your choice
There are too many songs to choose from, but I will give you an album I am fond of: The Gaslight Anthem's 'The 59' Sound'.
Why do you keep coming back to teach Global?
The students, curricula freedom, international friends and colleagues, the energy of the semester, the Global teaching team, and the travel is pretty sweet.
If you could give one piece of advice to the Global class of 2020, what would it be?
Raise your bar and shoot for it. Have a plan, be organized and positive, surround yourself with like-minded people, ask for help when needed, and be grateful to those who do, and remember the journey is as important as the destination.
