Favourite Global Memory:

My favourite global memory would definitely be one of the last days before we were off school due to the pandemic when Mr. Babcok pulled out a doll as well as a pair of underwear from the ceiling in portable 11.

Unexpected Lessons Learned from Global:

Global taught me how to be more appreciative. Throughout the course, I had been taught all about other countries, some of which were less fortunate than others. This had made me recognize how truly lucky I am. Global also made me appreciate school more, school had provided me with the opportunity to be in Global Perspectives. Now that we are currently not in school I am realizing how much I miss it!

What Does Global Mean to You?

To me, Global is an opportunity to challenge yourself to try new things and step outside of your comfort zone.

Why did you Apply to Global?

I applied to Global because I had always loved to travel, it was something I had enjoyed doing. I was also interested in the content that Global Perspectives would teach me. Global would provide me with the opportunity to travel as well as learn about the things that interest me. Even though we didn’t get to travel this year  I still benefited from the content learned.

Describe Global in 3 Words:

Exciting, Fun, Educating

What did you enjoy most about online school?

For me, I enjoyed the freedom of online school the most. Being able to decide when I do my school work helped me to be more effective. I also enjoyed being able to spend more time at home with my family.
